Nordic Access Expands Testing Network in Denmark

The Nordic Access team has just concluded a successful visit to Denmark. Through co-operation with Denmark’s most forward-thinking hubs, Nordic Access can provide companies with expanded opportunities to test and scale their HealthTech solutions in real-world environments.

A Unified Ecosystem for Validation

The tour facilitated in-depth collaboration with a diverse range of pivotal stakeholders, including Syddansk Sundhedsinnovation, Nordic Health Lab, Health Tech Hub Copenhagen, Københavns Professionshøjskole, Rigshospitalet, the Danish Life Science Cluster, and DokkX. These visits focused on bridging the gap between public healthcare and private innovation through transdisciplinary collaboration and user-centered testing.

At Syddansk Sundhedsinnovation, discussions centered on their 13-year legacy of bridging the gap between public healthcare and private innovation. Their experts emphasized that the future of the healthcare system rests on two critical pillars:

– Transdisciplinary Collaboration: Thinking beyond organizational boundaries and traditional competencies.

– Knowledge Integration: Actively utilizing expertise from research, educational institutions, and external commercial partners.

“Partnerships are essential for realizing the ambitions of the healthcare system and succeeding in developing value-creating solutions that benefit patients, employees, and society,” a spokesperson for Syddansk Sundhedsinnovation noted during the exchange.

In Aarhus, the Nordic Access team met the Danish Life Science Cluster to explore initiatives aimed at not only fostering innovation but also streamlining the often-complex procurement processes. The Cluster’s commitment to supporting international companies offers a strategic gateway for the Nordic Access network to navigate and engage with the Danish market effectively.

The three-day tour concluded at DokkX, a dynamic space where technology meets the end-user. As a hands-on exhibition for assisted living technologies, DokkX serves as a prime example of technology in practice, allowing innovators to see how their solutions interact with the people they are designed to help.

A Growing Testing Network

This visit has successfully expanded the Nordic Access testing network, creating a more flexible and connected environment for companies across the Nordics. By facilitating these cross-regional partnerships, Nordic Access continues to lower the barriers to innovation, ensuring that groundbreaking products can be validated, refined, and deployed across borders to create tangible impact.
