One Stop Funnel, a project co-funded by Nordic Innovation, concluded its final phase in October 2025. While the funded period was ended, the Nordic Access Service is set to continue, preserving this vital pathway to the Nordic market.
The Nordic Access Service consortium recently gathered in Lappeenranta, Finland for its final consortium meeting. From now Nordic Access service will be available commercially.
This milestone marked the culmination of three years of dedicated collaboration between Livsmedicin from Region Västerbotten, Sweden, the Center for Assisted Living Technology fromAarhus Denmark and Arnora Oy from Finland. The partners gathered to reflect on a journey defined by collective success, celebrated milestones, and a shared commitment to strengthening the Nordic health-tech landscape.
Following the meeting, the consortium embarked on a comprehensive tour to map Finland’s innovation landscape. The journey integrated a wide array of testing facilities into the Nordic Access network. At the Active Life Lab (Southeastern Finland University of Applied Sciences), the team explored specialized services designed to accelerate the flow of innovation in health and well-being. The delegation engaged with different testing units operating under Health Campus Turku, including Turku BioImaging, Euro-BioImaging, and the Insight Lab. Key visits to Auria Biobank and Auria Clinical Informatics highlighted the critical role of data and clinical informatics in modern health-tech. “We are excited about the future of health technology and the collaborations that will emerge from these connections” says spokeperson from Health Campus Turku.
In coordination with Business Tampere, the team also toured Tampere University of Applied Sciences (TAMK), focusing on the Virtual Lab for Social and Healthcare Testbed and the Sote Virtual Lab. The tour also included CIVIT’s co-creation platforms and the Tampere Centre for Skills Training and Simulation, showcasing advanced environments for clinical training and technology validation. Last but not least, a productive session with the Wellbeing County of Pirkanmaa focused on fostering regional innovation and public-private integration.
With an expanded network of testing sites and a solidified partnership between Iceland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland, the Nordic Access Service remains committed to creating a borderless environment for HealthTech testing.
