One Stop Funnel, a project co-funded by Nordic Innovation, concluded its final phase in October 2025. While the funded period was ended, the Nordic Access Service is set to continue, preserving this vital pathway to the Nordic market.
As the demand for new innovative solutions grows across the HealthTech and MedTech sectors, the need for thorough testing and validation of these emerging technologies has become more critical than ever. Yet, finding the right testing partner remains one of the toughest hurdles for growing startups. To strengthen support for innovators facing these requirements, Nordic Access is pleased to announce that Teknologi i Praksis has officially joined its team.
This expansion builds on the foundation laid by the One Stop Funnel project, co-funded by Nordic Innovation. While the original project wrapped up last year, core project partners Region Västerbotten and Arnora, a Finnish consulting firm with over 25 years of experience in startup business development and internationalization, have continued driving the initiative forward under a new commercial model. The overarching goal hasn’t changed: helping health tech companies cut through the noise and connect with testing partners who actually speak their language, understand their specific tech, and offer the right real-world environment for validation.
Region Västerbotten, one of the consortium partners, remains a driving force in the service. Acting both as a public healthcare authority and a major testing organization centered around Umeå University Hospital, Region Västerbotten gives startups direct access to clinical environments in Sweden while helping local innovations reach broader international markets.
Teknologi i Praksis joins forces in 2026 to add hands-on expertise in welfare technology and real-world deployment to the alliance. Rather than acting as a direct testing facility, they serve as a core member of the Nordic Access Board. Beyond evaluating test readiness during our 1-hour Board Sessions, Teknologi i Praksis plays a vital role in identifying tailored testing opportunities across their extensive network in Denmark while providing localized Danish market and regulatory insights.
While the core mission remains focused on eliminating testing friction through guided Workbooks, a 1-hour Board Session (equivalent to expert panel), and Test Readiness Certificates which explicitly outline one to three recommended testing organizations matching the company’s precise scope. The process is now even faster, thanks to direct introductory calls between innovators and testing organizations early in the pipeline, a key new add-on in the updated service model. This collaborative structure provides health innovators with a clear, fast-track gateway to validate breakthroughs and scale seamlessly across borders.
